Reading (Online)

We all love a good book and why should being at home stop that? We have created a list of websites that offer a mix of e-books, read alouds and sample texts so that you can continue to be inspired by the books you read.

We have also included some phonics resources to help children at home who may find reading tricky. Mr T's Phonics is a YouTube channel that gives clear and correct pronunciations of the letter sounds with fun activities for children to join in with. Children in our school revise Phase 5 but some may need further practise of other Phases if they are struggling with these sounds. Phonics Play are currently offering all their resources for free. Click on their website for further details.

Oxford Owl is a website we use most in school as this matches our levelled reading scheme books.
