Schools Cross Country Competition

48 children across Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 represented the SPA, competing against 7 other local schools. This is the largest XC event so far and the children's performances as competitors and supporters are something to be proud of.

Well done to the children for displaying sporting behaviour by cheering on all the finishers. Several children qualified for the next round, which will be held in on the 23rd November 2021 at Lynnsport, Kings Lynn from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. Further details will be coming out to the qualifiers.

Mini London Marathon Challenge

The children (parents and carers are welcome as well) were set the challenge of running, walking or wheeling 2.6 miles on a route of their choice, appropriate for their age and ability. They could finish the distance over one day, two days, three days or more up to Friday 22nd October.

Families shared pictures of themselves with their classes - they all did really well!

Tag Rugby Festival

This week we saw the return of the Primary School Sports events to our school. This has always been an exciting part of the PE that is provided at SPA and it has really been missed by the children.

11 children from Years 5 & 6 represented SPA in a Tag Rugby Festival on the amazing TNHA playing field. The children took part in ‘coaching’ style games and a round-robin event whereby every school plays each other once. All the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and were great ambassadors for the school.
