Our School Day

Our school gates open at 8.40am when your child’s class teacher will come to meet the children at the school gate and take them into class.

Small Gate near the pre- school:  Children in EYFS (Little Terns), Year 1 (Butterflies) and Year 2 (Water Voles).

Large Green Gate:  Children in Year 3 (Curlews) and Year 5 (Kingfishers).

Children in Year 4 (Hedgehogs) and Year 6 (Corncrakes) go into their classrooms at 8.40 through the class fire exits.

Our morning session starts at 8.45am.

Our school day ends at 3.15pm when the gates are opened and parents/ carers are welcomed onto our site to collect their child from their classroom door.

Our lunch time is 12- 1.

Children have a morning break time too.

Our afternoon sessions starts at 1pm.

Our total weekly figure for the compulsory time pupils spend in school is 32.5hrs - in line with the new DFE expectation from September 2023.

Collective Worship takes place daily at 8.55am with a mix of whole school, class based and keys stage assemblies.
