Lunches

We offer a range of meals each day, (please see below for our current menu) including: a main option; a meat free option or a jacket potato with a choice of toppings. Lunches must be ordered (even if your child is entitled to Free School Meals or Universal Free School Meals) and paid for in advance through the ParentMail. Lunches cost £2.90. We are a cashless school.

Ordering/Payment

Log on to www.parentmail.co.uk or download the ParentMail app and we will set up an account for you. Once set up you will be sent a login to the email address you have provided us. Please speak to the school office if you need more information about how you can order or pay online.

Is my child eligible?

From September 2026, the UK government expanded Free School Meals (FSM) to include all households receiving Universal Credit, creating two distinct categories: Targeted FSM and Expanded

Key Differences Between Expanded and Targeted FSM

• Targeted: you receive Universal Credit and earn under £7,400 a year or another qualifying benefit: your children are entitled to FSM and extra support for their school

• Expanded: you receive Universal Credit and earn above £7,400: your children are entitled to FSM only

The qualifying benefits are:

• Universal Credit
• Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
• Support under Part 6 of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
• The guaranteed element of Pension Credit

Families with No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF) may also be eligible.

Universal infant free school meals

All children attending Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 automatically receive Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM).

If you think you might be eligible for benefit related FSM, you should still apply as you may be able to help your child's school get extra funds (called Pupil Premium). This Government funding can help with extra tuition, teaching and after school activities.
